How we work

As different sites require different approaches, our first task would be to assess what would be the best strategy to get the best value for your site, taking into consideration your personal circumstances, timing and goals.

So, to get started, we follow these simple seven steps.

STEP 01 – Get in touch.

Call us on 020 3456 9862, email us at info@herxide.com or use this weblink to give us your contact details. We will call you back within 24 hours to set up a telephone meeting.

STEP 2 – Brief conversation on the phone.

We will have a brief conversation over the phone, firstly to answer any questions you might have, secondly to have a brief understanding of your current situation (the site, your objective, time restrictions, etc) and finally to collect some information about the site to start our basic research.

 

STEP 03 – Desktop basic research

Most of the public data currently available via the internet will allow us to find some important information at this stage. Our aim would be to start investigating the viability of your site and conduct basic research to assess its potential for development or conversion.

Every aspect of the site would be considered: location, planning permission (past and present), local planning policy, market conditions, current use, access and contamination.

As soon as we get this basic information, we will contact you to arrange a site visit with you, to assess the site and validate our findings.

STEP 4 – Site visit

We know that some companies can provide you with a report without seeing the site, as an important amount of information can be collected via the web. However, here at Herxide, we are unable to proceed further if we cannot view the site and its surroundings with you.

 

During the site visit, we will assess the site and location, validate some of our findings and identify any specificity that we will need to consider before proceeding further.

 

We will share with you the key facts collected previously, and we will start to discuss any potential strategies we might be able to follow.

 

STEP 5 – Further due diligence and report

At this stage, we will start a thorough investigation of potential routes available to us. Our professional team will now start to get involved.

 

STEP 6. Report

 

Each piece of land or plot is unique. Our role at Herxide is to implement the best strategy to secure the best possible price on optimal terms. The value of a plot/land and its potential attractiveness depends on numerous factors (for example, the seller’s current situation, location, planning, local planning and current market conditions).

Consequently, we do not have a simplistic single solution for every plot. Our role is to assess and to weigh every strategy available to us, and to choose the best one with you.

At this stage, we will provide you with a clear, jargon-free report outlining our recommendations development potential, timescales and marketing strategy.

 

STEP 7. Agreement and follow-up

 

If we reach an arrangement on the steps to follow, we will keep in contact with you on a regular basis while we implement the strategy agreed together.
